TAKEOFF AT DINJAN


From Fletcher Hank's, "WHEN AND HOW THE CNAC CRASHES HAPPENED ON THE HUMP AND ITS ENVIRONS DURING WWII" (hand-dated 5/4/02)

George Loux and Eddie Quin, 02/17/44, C-47 #57. No fatalities. Crashed on takeoff at Dinjan. Each thought the other was flying the plane on takeoff. With full takeoff power, the plane got out of control before they tried to correct the error. It plowed into the trees at the end of the runway. Plane totaled.
