Weldon's parents were Bernard Cleveland Tutwiler (born 1884) and Elizabeth Frank Tutwiler (born 1887). We think he was the only child. Mr. Weldon F. Tutwiler, who was born in 1915 or 1916 to a farming family, perhaps at East Hanover, Pennsylvania. By the time he was a teenager, the family had moved to another farm in the Middle River District, Augusta, Virginia.

From Gene Banning's list of 8/31/00:
"... prom capt 3/43; killed in crash in Cuba on ferry flight of new plane to Dinjan, 3/7 or 23/44.
