September 2002 I met S.K. this past weekend at the 2002 CNAC Reunion. S.K. told me that he was the "gas man" in Calcutta. More to follow... He gave me his business card. And then S.K. was at the 2004 reunion S.K. Au and T.T.Chen March 23, 2022 I received the following e-mail from Myrtle Ching-Rappa whose mother was Elizabeth Lan. S.K. and my father were best friends in Shanghai, so much so that I always called him Uncle S.K.. They were both graduates of St. John's University in Shanghai. He lived in San Francisco (Richmond Heights), CA for 60+ years. He's not in the picture that you linked to. I was not aware that he worked for CNAC, what a surprise. He worked for many years in SF for Smithfield Ham. He passed away in 2015. From a family member, I received the following information. First, a letter written by SK about his family.
