I don't know whom I am writing to, but I began thinking about my aunt tonight, who was intenrned at Santo Tomas on her way back to Shanghai from the United States. I have a fairly short diary that she kept during that time, but that is all I know and I would be interested in knowing more. Her maiden name was Katherine Ellis. At the time she was interned, she was married to someone called Vic Brown - I believe. During the time she was at camp, she met Max Vittaly (1898-1984) - whom she married after she was released. I would be most interested in any information there is about this camp and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely Sarah K. (Ellis) Meredith

Katherine and Max's last residence was in Lafayette, California.
