DOBNER
(CNAC 1944 - 1944)

From the 1943-45 log book of Don McBride:

(1944)
"3-29
Japs raided Kunming.
One of the new pilots,
Dobner by name, made one
trip across the hump. The
trip scared him so badly
that he resigned & went home
by boat."

Flying the Hump wasn't for everyone. Pretty frightening place.

Unfortunately we have no more information on Co-Pilot Dobner other than what you see on this page.
Can you help?
