Here's a blast from the past...1929...

And, here's Ben's logbook from 1927-1931. All very interesting...

And the following photo and discription comes from Ben's grandson, Ben K. Brierton.

Based on his logbook (above) the flight was May 24th and 25th of 1930……
My grandfather is in the center of the photo, my grandmother Edna is on his right.
My father Benned when he was a baby is on the wing and his sister Marabi is in front of Edna.
On my grandfather’s left is his sister Aunt Diggy and her husband (name unknown).
Behind Edna is my great grandfather I believe his name was Ben.
Don’t know who the two kids are up behind everyone.
Photo taken early 1930 in Stuttgart Arkansas.
Grandfather and family ( Edna, Marabi and Benned ) were flying back to Little Rock Arkansas after spending the day with relatives.

Here's an update to the above photo's caption from Ben's daughter Shirley Hubba:
"Picture you posted on CNAC of my father Bennie Emanuel Brierton in front of his airplane and his pilot logs contain errors.
The people shown with BEB are his wife Edna, his children Benned King Brierton (on wing) and his daughter Marabee Jean Brierton.
To BEB's left is his sister Nita E. Smith and unknown man/husband.
Children playing in cockpit are possibly Nita's children.
Girl looks to be Diane and boy may be Frank Tennant.

Attached are Ben E. Brierton 's retirement plane and ID bracelet he wore in China during war hanging from propeller."
