Bill was the Flighter Leader in the 1st Squadron of the AVG.

From Gene Banning's list of 8/31/00:
"... AVG; was copilot with Laughlin on 10/10/42 crash of training flight Balijan (emer dispersal strip near Dinjan); both pilots injured. Left CNAC in 1945 to FTL as VP."

Bill passed away November 19, 1979.
