Hello,
My great Aunt and Uncle were POW's at Santo Tomas. I recently lost my Mom and found letters from my Aunt and Uncle and from the government detailing their capture and life at the internment camp. I would like their names included on your list if possible. Let me know and I'll send details. Thank you.

Later the same day...

Hi Tom,
I'm so happy to know they will be added to your website list. I did find their names on another website roster. My Great Uncle was Harold (Hal) Evans Rather and my Great Aunt was Margaret C. Stevens Rather. My uncle was an employee of Sterling Products International and worked for them in Manila prior to WW2. I have two tags from either the intenment camp or the ship that brought them home. I'm enclosing a photo of them hoping you'll have seen such tags in your research. Thanks so much for your reply and for your passion for something that impacted the lives of so many.
Best,
Traci

Here are those tags. I've never seen tags like these.
Please let me know if you have.
Mabuhay!

Hello!
This is a photo of my Great Aunt Margaret C. Stevens Rather upon her return from Santo Tomas Internment Camp when her and my Uncle Harold E. Rather reached a hotel in California before returning to Connecticut. The second photo is after her return to Connecticut. It's a very stark contrast indeed. Still digging for a photo of Uncle Hal.

If you would like to share any information about Hal or Margaret Rather
or would like to be added to my POW/Internee e-mail distribution list,
please let me, Tom Moore, know.
Thanks!
