I received the following from, Lani Dean Dorrell, the daughter of Guy Tomberlin.

"What a great web site. While I don't remember much about the times, I was born in 1942, I grew up with the stories and pictures. I believe that I do have some memorbilia. I'll find it and scan it and then send it to you.

My father, Guy Nathan Tomberlin, (Tommy) died October 18, 1987. He was a retired Delta Airlines Captain. He had a great many people who admired and loved him. That is how I found out your site. It was emailed to me today by a close friend whose daughter loved my dad as a child. She had been my daughter's best friend and spent many happy times visiting at my dad's "farm" in Homestead, Florida. She discovered this site by "searching" the internet for Guy Tomberlin. Your site is a wonderful tribute to the pilots of that era. I look forward to sharing it with relatives and friends of the family."

Did an online search and found this photo.
Maybe in Hawaii about 1940?
Tommy Tomberlin on the far left. Others are unknown. Can you help?

Anyone know the date of this Aviation History magazine?
