"was made captain in January 1936, believe left when Shanghai fell." Also, "He went to Boeing School for training in 1937. He went with UAL until retirement in 1970."

The following information was received from a "Kidder Family" researcher:
"Arthur Royse Kidder born at Terre Haute, Ind. 6 Nov. 1910; died in California, 29 Aug. 1990, son of Arthur Dale Kidder and Fidelia Royse."
