In October 2019, I found this envelope on ebay.com.

From Gene Banning's list of 8/31/00:
"Capt. Felix Smith, 1945, left in 1946 to CAT as Capt. Author CHINA PILOT Flying for Chiang and Chennault, 1995."
(Ed: It's worth the read - check out the great reviews!)

I was glad to have known Felix.

Felix and "Bill" Dill were good friends. There are several pictures of Felix on Bill's CNAC page.

Carey Bowles sent me this note December 31, 2003.

While living in Hawaii, Felix Smith met Junko Kanna.
They were married on June 28, 1977 in Clark County, Nevada.

October 20, 2005

Felix tells me that he and his wife, Junko, plan on moving to the Austin, Texas area fairly soon.
And, he says he is planning on being at the 2006 CNAC Reunion.

And this great picture of Junko and Felix -- married for 40 pretty good years.
At their home in Wisconsin.
