From the book, "Santo Tomas" by Frederic Stevens: John Alfred Koesling (husband, 1904 - 1988) Pauline Matilda Koesling (wife, 1909 - 2003) January 23, 2010 My godparents, Pauline Koesling and J. Alfred Koesling, were interned at Santo Tomas throughout the war. My uncle Al worked for International Harvester. They mostly refused to talk of that time--I wish I could find others who might remember them--but, unfortunately time has passed. All I've found in relatives' paperwork was a newspaper clipping talking of their return home, and a mention that they were in Santo Tomas. But I did find a site in the Phillipines with a complete listing of internees. I don't know if you've seen this (http://rizal.lib.admu.edu.ph/ahc/guides/STIC-part2.pdf). Good luck with your site!
