Donald Christian Kneedler, Sr.(father, 1911 - 1994, was living in Florida when he died)
Donald Christian Kneedler, Jr.(son)
Edgar Mason Kneedler (1914 - 2001, was living in Palm Springs when he died)
Helen Walker Kneedler
Mary Kindt Kneedler

March 20, 2009

I had a friend, Edgar Mason Kneedler, who was interred at the camp, along with his wife Dorothy and children, Ann, Douglas and Wendy. His family owned the Bayview Park Hotel, Kneedler Bldg, etc. before the Japanese took over.

Note: As you can see from Steve's message above and the Kneedler's listed in "Santo Tomas, there are some name reconcilliations needed. If you can help, please send me, Tom Moore, and e-mail at pepperbud@dc.rr.com

Also -- According to Pampango historian Zoilo Galang, the Kneedler Building was the first concrete office building in the Philippines.

If you would like to share any information about the Kneedler family
or if you would like to be added to my POW/Internee e-mail distribution list,
please let me, Tom Moore, know.
Thanks!
