Dear sir,

I would like to see the names of both my father and my grandfather added to the list as they were both interned at Santo Tomas.

My father’s name is Joseph Irwin. He was at Santo Tomas from the ages of approximately 13 – 17 years old.

My grandfather’s name is James Taylor Irwin. He was injured during the repatriation, being hit by a U.S. Army vehicle and losing his leg. He died several years later from cancer. I never met him.

Any info or pictures anyone has regarding them would be wonderful to hear or see.

Best regards,

Jim Irwin

Tom,

My father, Joseph Irwin, died of natural causes (heart failure) Monday, October 31, 2005. He was born April 29, 1928. He was interned at Santo Tomas. I appreciate the pepperbud updates and would like them to continue. We don’t have much info regarding Dad’s time at Santo Tomas and would appreciate any tidbits anyone might have about him.

Best regards, Jim Irwin

If you would like to share any information about the Irwin Family
or if you would like to be added to my POW/Internee e-mail distribution list,
please let the me, Tom Moore, know.
Thanks!
