Dear Tom Moore,

Please add my family name to your wonderful list. I was a child in the camp. My name is Jacqueline Honnor (Towell) my parents were Olive and Leslie Honnor (she was a teacher in the camp) and my father Leslie organized and helped build all the shower and washing facilities for the shanty towns. My brother John Honnor was also in the camp . We all survived and returned to England travelling on the USS Eberly to Los Angles and then across the Atlantic to join our family in the UK.

My story has recently been published in the UK by Penguin Books and the Imperial Museum.
Title, Young Voices: British children Remember the Second World War.
ISBN # 978-0-141-02325-0

Thanks,

Jackie Towell
