Back in the 1960s and 1970s, Robert J. Hinds worked for me at Chevron in the bay area. He said he had been interned as a boy with his family at Santo Tomas. Note that there is an s on the end of his name. The Scaff thesis mentions someone named Hind, but that is likely not his family.
