(1 flat box) unprocessed Papers of a U.S. Army nurse who served in Bataan and Corregidor during WWII and who was taken prisoner by the Japanese in 1942 and was interned at the Santo Tomas concentration camp in the Philippines until 1945. Includes scrapbooks compiled by her mother containing correspondence, photographs, and clippings; a published collection of internment camp newspapers (Internews); a travel diary; her obituary; a collection of medals and memorabilia; and photographs.
