PFC Lawrence Ehlers SA# 06244414 31st Infantry Regiment, Company F Entered the Service from: Texas Died: August 24, 1942, in Cabantuan POW camp, in the Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Cause of death is listed as Dysentery and Malaria. Buried at: Plot N Row 5 Grave 52, Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines. While on Bataan, he served in the Battle of Layac Junction, Jan. 2 to Jan. 6, the Battle of Abucay Hacienda, Jan 16 to Jan 25, and the Battle of the Trails, April 3 to April 9.
