BRIDGEFORD AND ROWLEY FAMILIES

April 1, 2006

I came across your Santo Tomas website today. Many thanks for keeping the memory alive for those, such as myself, who have not had to endure such suffering.

My father George Macrae Bridgeford (1906-1980) was a British internee in Santo Tomas 1942-1945. He played a part in the food administration, I believe. I have his diaries - mostly facts and figures about food procurement etc. My grandparents on my mother's side were also interned in Santo Tomas - Herbert Spencer Cotton Rowley (d. 1975) and Virginie Marie Louise Rowley, known as May (1888-1970).

Thanks!
