The Baker's were a large British/Chinese family from Shanghai who ended up in STIC. Mother - Mary Klein Baker died October 1945 and is buried in San Francisco. Dorothy Jane Baker died February 1957 in the UK. Frances Lilian Baker Frederick Sydney March Baker died February 1971 in the UK. Son - George Edward March Baker Leonard Charles Baker Sister - Mabel Mary Baker (1921 - 2010) Patricia Elsie Baker Stanley Harold Baker died February 8, 2005 in the UK. June 29, 2010 We are saddened to announce the death of our eldest sister, Mabel, suddenly last Friday. Mabel, in the absence of our mother from 1945 onwards, always acted as a mother figure, and will be greatly missed. Born in Shanghai in 1921, Mabel would have celebrated her 89th birthday in December. Tom, would you please circulate and post this notice on the website in the Baker family file. Thank you.
